Airport meet-and-greet in Tashkent and transfer to the hotel. A first look at Uzbekistan’s capital: the Khast-Imam complex, home to the world’s oldest Quran manuscript, the medieval Kukeldash Madrasah and the many-voiced Chorsu Bazaar under its historic dome. In the evening — a walk through the underground palaces of the Tashkent metro.

A morning ride on the high-speed Afrosiyob train (≈2 hours). Arrival in Samarkand and a full day among masterpieces: Registan Square with its ensemble of three madrasahs, the Shah-i-Zinda necropolis with its shimmering blue mosaics, and the Gur-Emir Mausoleum — Tamerlane’s resting place. In the evening — a traditional dinner with live music.

A morning walk through Samarkand: the grand Bibi-Khanym Mosque and, right beside it, the fragrant Siab Bazaar, where Uzbek spices and fresh non bread sit next to carpets and dried fruit. Ulugbek Observatory — the great astronomical instrument of the Middle Ages. Then the transfer to Tashkent and on to the airport.

The Samarkand–Tashkent transfer is included in the tour. We use the high-speed Afrosiyob train (≈2 hours) or comfortable transport depending on the schedule.
