Airport meet-and-greet and hotel transfer. First taste of the capital: the Khast-Imam complex with the world's oldest Quran manuscript, Kukeldash Madrasah and the colourful Chorsu Bazaar.

A morning domestic flight to Urgench (~1.5 h), then transfer to Khiva. First immersion in Itchan Kala — the medieval walled city — as the sun goes down.

Morning in Khiva — deeper into the walled city: Islam Khoja Minaret, Kuhna Ark citadel, Juma Mosque. Then the scenic desert drive to Bukhara through the Kyzylkum.

A full day in Bukhara — one of the best-preserved medieval cities on earth, entirely UNESCO-listed. Towering minaret, trading domes and the great Ark fortress. Folklore dinner in the evening.

Transfer to Samarkand (train or car, ~3 h). Optional stop in Shakhrisabz — birthplace of Tamerlane. Arrival and evening walk around the illuminated Registan.

Registan Square, Gur-Emir Mausoleum, Shah-i-Zinda necropolis, Ulugbek Observatory — a full day among Samarkand's greatest masterpieces.

Bibi-Khanym Mosque — once the largest in the Islamic world — and the fragrant Siab Bazaar next door. Afrasiyab Museum in the afternoon. Free evening in Samarkand.

Free morning in Tashkent before your flight. Last souvenirs, one final Uzbek breakfast — then transfer to Tashkent International Airport. The Silk Road stays with you long after you leave.
